JCI Pokhara Foundation

JCI is a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs aimed at creating positive change in communities. 

Embracing the objectives and philosophy of JCI, and prioritizing leadership and personality development, Pokhara Jaycees (JCI Pokhara), established in 1975 AD, has played a significant role in enhancing the potential of youth in society. Recognizing the need for a foundation to cater to the broader interests of JCI Pokhara in a timely manner, the concept of the JCI Pokhara Foundation was introduced during the 42nd chapter convention and 47th annual general meeting held in 2021.

The foundation aims to contribute further to JCI’s areas of impact, including individual, professional, community, and international development. Subsequently, during the 44th chapter convention and 49th annual general meeting in 2023, the establishment of the foundation was approved under the statutes of Pokhara Jaycees.

The foundation has been formed with the objective of strengthening JCI Pokhara’s campaign and institutional presence by operating effectively within the mentioned domains.

Objectives

  1. To enhance the effectiveness of JCI campaigns and activities of JCI Pokhara by executing quality endeavors.
  2. To serve as a caretaker in protecting and preserving the organization’s resources and assets.
  3. To manage available resources for the capacity-building of the organization’s members.
  4. To contribute towards realizing the organization’s long-term plans meaningfully.
  5. To fulfill social responsibilities by addressing community needs and providing support during times of need.
  6. To remain in an impactful role for the benefit of the organization.
